These terms cover the pilot site at householdreserve.com. By using the site or joining the founding list, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What this is

Household Reserve is a planning tool. It turns a household profile into estimates for food, water, and a purchase rhythm. It is not medical, dietary, emergency-response, or professional advice. It does not promise that a plan is complete, that a food is safe, or that you will be prepared for a particular event. Follow official guidance and a qualified professional where it matters.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. The pilot is aimed at households in the United States. If you use it elsewhere, you are responsible for local requirements.

The founding list

Joining the list is free and does not create an order. It gives you one note when the paid plan is ready and the founding price of $19 for one person or household, as described on the site. The regular price is expected to be $29. We may change the launch date, the contents, or the price before anything is sold; if we do, the note will say so. No payment is collected now, and nothing is charged until you choose to buy.

Estimates and prices

Quantities, calories, water, and costs are estimates with a date. They are not a quote, a store price, a medical plan, or a guarantee of availability. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. When payments open, the checkout will show the final amount and the refund terms before you pay.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site to break the law, harm someone, or plan violence.
• Do not scrape, overload, probe, or try to bypass the signup protections.
• Do not submit someone else's email address without their permission.
• Do not copy the site, its text, or its images except as the licence allows.

Our content

The site, its text, layout, and code are owned by Household Reserve or used under licence. The photographs are credited in the footer and remain under their own licences. You may not use our name or branding in a way that suggests endorsement.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate will match your store, your household, or a real emergency.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Household Reserve is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for a claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places they apply only as far as the law permits.

Changes and ending access

We may change the site, these terms, or the pilot at any time. If a change is material, we will update the date on this page. We may suspend or end access if someone abuses the site or breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
